Textile fairs 2026-2027 calendar

From October to December 2026, the Tüyap and Istanbul Expo Center calendars and the organizers' websites we checked show one textile fair in Istanbul: InterDye & Textile Printing Eurasia, organized by Artkim Fuarcılık A.Ş., which focuses on dyestuffs, textile chemicals and digital printing technologies. The next Istanbul fairs for garments, fabric, yarn and home textiles are all in the first half of 2027.

Textile fairs in Istanbul: the 2027 program

IFCO. A ready-made garment and fashion fair organized by İTKİB Fuarcılık A.Ş. (ITKIB Fairs), a subsidiary of İHKİB, the Istanbul apparel exporters' association. According to the organizer, the next edition is 3-February 6, 2027, with visiting hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Product groups include women's, men's and children's clothing, denim, sportswear, underwear and socks, as well as evening wear, bridal gowns, leather clothing, shoes and bags. Exhibitors are manufacturers and exporters; on the visitor side, the organizer targets garment buyers from abroad, especially from EU countries. Texhibition Istanbul. A fabric, textile accessories and yarn fair. According to the Istanbul Expo Center's 2026 edition page, it is organized by İTKİB Fuarcılık A.Ş. In 2026 it was held twice: 4-6 March, and again in September, when it closed on 11 September. The next edition is 3-March 5, 2027; the organizer's website has no September 2027 date yet. International Istanbul Yarn Fair. Organized by Tüyap, the fair takes place for the 23rd time on 17-March 19, 2027. As the name says, it covers yarn only, and it comes two weeks after Texhibition, so you can plan your fabric and yarn sourcing within the same month.

HOMETEX. A home textile fair organized by KFA Fuarcılık, a subsidiary of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on 25-May 29, 2027 at the Istanbul Expo Center. Its scope covers curtains and curtain accessories, upholstery fabrics, bedroom textiles, kitchen and dining textiles, towels and bath products, wall cladding, carpets and floor coverings, and raw materials. The 2026 edition was held on 19-22 May.

IFCO's summer edition moves to September

FashionUnited reported in August 2026 that IFCO is moving its second annual edition from August to September from 2027. The 2027 edition would take place on 8-10 September at the Istanbul Expo Center. According to the report, the reason is that the August date held back attendance from European buyers, many of whom are still on holiday when the fair opens. The new date is meant to bring the fair closer to Western buyers' calendars and to increase the number of international visitors. The February edition is unaffected. The last August edition took place on 19-August 21, 2026.

As of 11 October 2026, IFCO's own website shows only 3-February 6, 2027, and its news page has no September 2027 date. For that reason, we have not put the September edition in the calendar table; it will be added when the organizer announces it. If you plan to attend, confirm the dates with the organizer first.

European textile fairs: the January-February cluster

Europe's main fabric and sourcing fairs come back to back in the first weeks of 2027: Heimtextil on 12-15 January, Munich Fabric Start on 20-22 January, Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris on 25-27 January, Première Vision Paris on 26-28 January and Milano Unica on 2-4 February. Our reading of the dates: Texworld and Première Vision overlap on 26-27 January, and Milano Unica and IFCO in Istanbul overlap on 3-4 February. If you plan to attend more than one fair, fix your days and priorities early.

Milano Unica describes itself as three days dedicated to high-end fabrics and accessories for apparel. Première Vision Paris presents itself as covering the entire value chain, from yarn to finished product. Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris combines two fairs: Texworld, where weavers show fabrics, trims and accessories, and Apparel Sourcing, where garment and accessories makers exhibit.

ITMA is a textile and garment machinery fair held every four years. The organizer's press release of 5 August 2026 says that more than 1,500 companies from 43 countries have already secured their participation, and that China leads international participation, followed by India, Turkey and Japan. Visitor registration opens in March 2027.

Which fair suits which buyer?

Checklist before you go

1. Confirm the date and venue on the organizer's website. IFCO's move shows that dates can change.
2. Check registration and ticket rules. ITMA visitor registration opens in March 2027; for the other fairs, check the organizer's page.
3. Build a target list from the exhibitor list. Shortlist the companies that match your product and request appointments in advance. A booth does not show where your order would be made, so for a serious order plan a factory visit (see how to choose a CMT workshop in Turkey).
4. Record samples in a comparable way. For fabric, write down weight (GSM), width and composition; for yarn, the count. The fabric GSM calculator and the yarn count converter put quotes in different units on the same footing.
5. Ask for a written quote. Within a week after the fair, ask for a written quote and samples covering price, MOQ (minimum order quantity), lead time and the Incoterms rule the price is based on.

Not in the calendar, and 2026 editions already held

• ITM Istanbul: the textile machinery fair organized by Teknik Fuarcılık A.Ş. at Tüyap was held on 9-June 13, 2026. The fair's website lists ITM 2028 as the next edition, but no date has been published, so it is not in the table.
• Techtextil and Texprocess in Frankfurt: according to Messe Frankfurt, the next edition is 4-April 7, 2028; there is none in Frankfurt in 2027.
• Bursa Textile Show: organized by KFA Fuarcılık under the leadership of BTSO, the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We could not verify a 2026-2027 date, so it is not in the table.
• Held in 2026: Texhibition (4-6 March and September, closing on 11 September), HOMETEX (19-22 May), ITM (9-13 June) and IFCO (February and 19-21 August).

Fairs whose dates are still open (IFCO's September 2027 edition, Texhibition's September 2027 edition and ITM 2028) will be added to the table as organizers announce them, and the data date at the top of this page will be updated.
