This page explains what to do if you believe content published on Tekstil Rehberi infringes your personality rights, trademark, copyright or another right, or is otherwise unlawful. This English version is provided for information; the Turkish version prevails.
1. Who is responsible
- Company content (company profiles, products, listings, photos, quotes and messages) is published by companies and is their responsibility. For this content, Tekstil Rehberi is a hosting provider under Turkish Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Internet Publications: it has no obligation to monitor content in advance or to investigate whether there is unlawful activity, but it takes unlawful content down once notified.
- Editorial content (articles, glossary entries, directory guides and province texts) is prepared by the Tekstil Rehberi editorial team; for this content, Tekstil Rehberi is the content provider. For errors in editorial content you can also use the topic "Content error report" on the contact form.
2. How to report
- For products and listings: use the "Report this content" link on the page concerned and choose a suitable reason such as "Copyright" or "Fake listing".
- For all other content and detailed reports: choose the topic "Rights infringement report" on the contact form.
- By email: send an email with the subject "Infringement report" to [email protected].
3. What your report should include
So that we can review it quickly, your report should include:
- your name or your company's name and an email address where we can reach you;
- the full web address (URL) of the content and where in the content the infringement is;
- the right you believe is infringed (personality rights, trademark, copyright, design, trade secret, personal data, etc.) and an explanation;
- information and documents showing that you hold the right (e.g. a trademark registration certificate, a record showing that the work is yours);
- if you report on someone else's behalf, a document showing your authority (power of attorney or letter of authorization);
- your statement that the information in the report is accurate and that you are the right holder or authorized to act for them.
We may ask for more information if a report is incomplete.
4. Review
- Your report is recorded and its receipt is confirmed to you.
- The report is reviewed. If the infringement appears obvious, the content may be taken offline until the review is concluded.
- The company that published the content is told the subject of the report and its grounds so that it can object. Your name or company name may be shared for this purpose; your email address and other contact details are not shared without your permission.
- You and the company are informed of the decision: the content is removed, corrected or, if no unlawfulness is found, stays online.
Reports alleging a violation of personality rights are reviewed with priority; we aim to answer them within 24 hours at the latest. Other reports are concluded as quickly as possible.
5. Objection (counter-notice)
A company whose content was removed can object through the contact form with an explanation and documents showing that the content is lawful. If the objection is justified, the content may be republished. Tekstil Rehberi does not decide rights disputes between the parties; such disputes are resolved by the competent courts.
6. Court and authority orders
Orders of criminal judgeships of peace and of competent authorities such as the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) to remove content or block access are carried out within the periods set by law. You can also write to [email protected] about such orders. If you believe your personality rights are violated, you always keep the right to apply directly to the competent criminal judgeship of peace.
7. Abuse
Reports that are false or aim to have competitors' content removed unfairly are not processed; the reporter bears the legal responsibility for such reports. Repeated bad-faith reports may be blocked.
8. Personal data requests
Requests to access, correct or delete your personal data are made through the procedure in the Privacy Notice, by choosing the topic "Personal data request" on the contact form.
