Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set out the rules for using the website at tekstilrehberi.com and its services ("Tekstil Rehberi" or the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by MERT ÇELİK DENİZER (a sole proprietorship; tax office Kocasinan V.D., tax ID number 2920840438; address Kartaltepe Mah. Malazgirt Caddesi No:10/B D:119 Küçükçekmece/İstanbul). This English version is provided for information; the Turkish version prevails.

Everyone who visits or uses the Platform is deemed to accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

Visitor: a person using the Platform without an account.
Buyer: a person or organization asking one or more companies for quotes through the "Request a quote" form.
Company: a textile manufacturer, contract manufacturer, supplier or service company with a profile on the Platform.
Company user: a natural person who registers for the company panel and acts on behalf of a company.
Job posting: a "We are hiring" posting a company publishes for its own open position.
User content: profile details, products, listings, job postings, photos, quotes, messages, requests and attachments uploaded by companies and users.
Editorial content: articles, glossary entries, directory guides and province texts prepared by the Tekstil Rehberi editorial team.

2. Other documents

Users who open a company account are also bound by the Membership Agreement.
For companies buying a paid package in the company panel, a Pre-Information Form and a Distance Sales Agreement are issued with the order. Orders agreed with the Tekstil Rehberi team, such as sponsored placements and ads, are confirmed in writing (by email).
What companies may publish is set out in the Content and Listing Rules.
Processing of personal data is explained in the Privacy Notice, and cookies in the Cookie Policy.

3. Nature of the Platform

Tekstil Rehberi is an information and matching platform for the textile industry: it offers information content, a company directory, product and listing pages, and lets buyers ask companies for quotes. The job postings section, on the Turkish site only, is a posting service where job seekers reach the employer's contact details without applying, signing up or registering; Tekstil Rehberi does not match job seekers with employers.
Tekstil Rehberi is not a party to contracts, orders or other business relationships between companies and buyers. It is not the seller, manufacturer or agent of any product or service; it receives no payments in these relationships, does not handle payments and gives no guarantee as to delivery, quality, price or payment.
For content published by companies, Tekstil Rehberi is a hosting provider under Turkish Law No. 5651 and an intermediary service provider under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce. As a hosting provider it has no obligation to monitor user content in advance or to investigate whether there is unlawful activity; once notified of unlawful content, it takes the content down. The Platform nevertheless reserves the right to review, hold back or not publish content to fight spam and fraud.
For editorial content, Tekstil Rehberi is the content provider.

4. Editorial content

Articles, glossary entries, guides and calculators are for general information; they do not replace engineering, legal, tax, customs or financial advice. Technical values, regulations and market information may change over time; check the information against current sources and experts before important decisions.
How content is prepared and checked is described in our editorial policy. You can report errors through the contact form.
Calculator results are estimates based on the values you enter.

5. Company details and verification

Information on company profiles, products and listings is provided by the companies themselves. Tekstil Rehberi does not guarantee that it is accurate, current or complete.
The "Verified" badge only shows the checks made for the level described in the verification process; it is not a guarantee of the quality of the company's products and services, its financial strength or its reliability.
Before working with a company, make your own assessment; we recommend asking for samples, signing a contract and being careful, especially when a prepayment is requested. Tekstil Rehberi never asks you to pay on behalf of another company.

6. Job postings

The pay, working conditions and contact details in job postings are the employer's statements. Every posting is reviewed before publication against the Content and Listing Rules; this review does not guarantee that the information in the posting is accurate or the working conditions.
Tekstil Rehberi does not take applications, select candidates, act as an intermediary in finding jobs or workers or place anyone in a job, and it is not a party to the employment relationship; contact is made directly with the employer.
No fee of any kind may be asked of job seekers. Tekstil Rehberi does not call you about job postings or ask you for money or documents; report a posting that asks for money, an IBAN, an image of an ID card or a password with its "İlanı bildir" (Report) link.
The contact details in job postings may be used only for the job in that posting; they may not be collected in bulk.

7. Quote requests, quotes and messages

Buyers must give accurate information of their own, based on a real need. Collecting information from competitors, presenting price research as a real request or sending requests on someone else's behalf is prohibited.
Requests go through email confirmation, spam checks and, where needed, review by a moderator; Tekstil Rehberi may decide not to publish a request or not to send it to companies without giving reasons.
Quotes and messages are delivered through the Platform. Correspondence may go through automated checks against fraud and spam and may be reviewed by moderators when reported.
Talks, agreements, orders and payments made between the parties outside the Platform bind only those parties.
Contact details obtained through requests and correspondence may only be used for that request; buyers may not be sent advertising or promotional messages without their consent.

8. Prohibited uses

When using the Platform you may not:

use it in any way that violates the law, public order or morality;
act under someone else's name, a false identity or on behalf of a fictitious company;
send spam, bulk or misleading requests and messages, or attempt fraud;
collect, copy or bulk-download company and user details, contact details or content on the Platform by bots, scrapers or similar automated means (except crawling by search engines that follow robots.txt);
attempt to compromise the security, operation or infrastructure of the Platform, run unauthorized security or load tests, or spread malware or malicious links;
try to bypass spam and moderation checks;
send unsolicited commercial electronic messages using information obtained from the Platform.

Users who break these rules may be blocked, their content removed and their accounts closed; the right to take legal action is reserved.

9. Intellectual property

All rights to the Platform's design and software, the name and logo "Tekstil Rehberi" and the editorial content belong to Tekstil Rehberi or are used under license.
Short quotations from editorial content are allowed with attribution and a link to the page concerned. Copying, reproducing, republishing on another site or commercially using the whole or a substantial part of the content requires written permission.
The rights to user content belong to whoever uploaded it. The license companies grant to Tekstil Rehberi is set out in the Membership Agreement.

10. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". Tekstil Rehberi does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation; the service may stop temporarily for maintenance, updates or technical faults.
Tekstil Rehberi is not responsible for the statements of companies and buyers, user content, job postings, business relationships between users, relationships between employers and job seekers or the content of third-party sites linked from the Platform.
To the extent permitted by law, Tekstil Rehberi is not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit or loss of data arising from the use of the Platform. This limitation does not exclude liability for Tekstil Rehberi's intent or gross negligence, nor the statutory rights of consumers.

11. Changes

Tekstil Rehberi may update these terms. The current text takes effect when it is published on this page with its version number and last updated date. Significant changes affecting company account holders are also announced by email.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes between merchants are subject to the jurisdiction of the Istanbul Central (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices. Consumers' rights under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, including the right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts, are reserved.
