What to look for in a company profile

What do the verification levels mean?
Business type and production model
Does the company make its own products, work as a contract (CMT) manufacturer, or act as a supplier or wholesaler? This affects price, responsibility and communication.
Minimum order and capacity
The minimum order quantity (MOQ) and monthly capacity tell you up front whether your order is a good fit.
Certifications
Check the validity of certifications such as OEKO-TEX, GOTS or GRS in the certification body's own database.
Verification level
The badge shows which of the company's details Tekstil Rehberi has checked. Information on profiles without a badge is self-declared.
Freshness
Look at the profile's last updated date, and don't hesitate to ask the company to confirm older information.

Safe sourcing

When requesting quotes and placing orders

  1. In your first message, state the product, fabric and weight (GSM), size breakdown, quantity, target price and delivery date; clear requests get faster and more accurate replies.

  2. Ask for a sample before bulk production and keep a record of the approved sample.

  3. Put price, lead time, quality criteria (e.g. AQL level), packaging and delivery terms in a written quotation, pro forma invoice or contract.

  4. If a prepayment is requested, verify the company's legal name and that the bank account belongs to the company; do not trust bank details that change by phone or message only.

  5. When importing, include the Incoterms rule, certificates of origin and customs documents in the contract.

Tekstil Rehberi is not a party to agreements between buyers and companies; it does not take payments, act as an agent or guarantee delivery or quality.
